đź“‘ Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) Setup
1- Access https://aka.ms/mfasetup and login using your username and password
2- You will be prompted that more information is required, click on Next
3- You need to download “Microsoft Authenticator” app in your smartphone. You can search the relevant app store for “Microsoft authenticator” or use the below QR codes to find the app.
5- Once the app is downloaded, switch back to your PC and click on Next in the Microsoft login page until you get a QR code.
6- On your mobile phone, open the MS Authenticator app, tap on Accept, then tap on Continue, choose “Add work or school account”, and then tap on "Scan QR code".
7- Use your mobile phone to scan the on-screen QR code.
8- Click on Next on your PC. This will trigger a notification in your smartphone, tap on it and enter the displayed code.
9- Once done, you will receive the confirmation page. Click on Next to continue.
10- The next step is to update your mobile number. Enter the number and then click on Next. This will send you an SMS message with the confirmation code.
11- Enter the received code and then click on Next.
12- This completes the setup.
